Historical Sites and Museum Information
Steilacoom Historical Museum Association maintains several historical sites in the town of Steilacoom. Click on the links below to learn more about the various sites. Virtual slide shows are also available for each historical site. The museum features pictures of Steilacoom's yesteryears and the video "Steilacoom: A Town is Born". Entry to the Museum, Wagon Shop, and Orr Home are by a minimum donation of $2. For further information about the Orr Home, contact Lenore Rogers (588-3591) . Steilacoom Historical Museum is located at 1801 Rainier St. in the town of Steilacoom.
Museum is now open on a Winter Hours schedule until April 2012.- The museum will be open one weekend during the months of February and March and will reopen every weekend beginning in April 2012. Private tours can be arranged by calling (253) 584-4133. Please leave all pertinent information, and your call will be returned as quickly as possible.
