Your Gift to
SHMA The Steilacoom Historical Museum Association is an
entirely volunteer organization. Its
operation depends almost solely upon the generosity of individual men,
women, and children who donate their time and energy.
If you would like to volunteer to work on one or more of SHMA’s
many activities, please contact us by telephone or mail (see CONTACT
US). Many families volunteer as a unit.
If you would also like to become a member of the Association, we
invite you to complete and submit an application for membership. Please click the link titled BECOME A MEMBER.
The many opportunities for volunteer work are listed there also. Individuals or organizations may also support the
work of SHMA through special gifts of money or property. The donation or selling of property for a reasonable price
has allowed SHMA to obtain title to significant historic buildings.
Since SHMA is a non-profit volunteer organization, there may be
opportunities for tax savings through your gifts. The restoration of SHMA’s historic properties has
been possible through generous support of the community, and through
