The Steilacoom Historical Museum Association (SHMA) is proud to host several seasonal events and special events throughout the year.
November 15-16 at the Orr Home. Quilting is the theme with a focus on displaying quilts and educating on the historical importance of quilting, as a necessary core cultural activity. It will be co-hosted by the Immaculate Conception Quilters. Includes a mobile sewing demonstration in the Museum Education Room. Attendees can participate in a hands-on activity to see how to use hand crank sewing machines to create quilt blocks.
